Bonny Hall - Co-founder

Bonny has been instrumental in the setup and growth of one of the world's leading players in the sexual wellbeing industry. During the 20 years spent at Lovehoney Bonny had the opportunity to experience and learn about all aspects of a business, taking it from a start-up, to venture capitalist and then on to a global merger.

As a member of the senior leadership team, Bonny developed strong leadership skills and expert product knowledge through the management of international buying and global product development teams, R&D, merchandising, pricing, purchasing, supplier management, supply chain and logistics, quality & compliance, B2B sales, warehouse operations and customer services.

Within her role, Bonny has overseen the development of over 3000 own-brand lines across electronic devices, non-electronic goods, wet goods, garments, gifts and games. Using consumer knowledge and insight, Bonny has developed an industry-leading innovative and profitable product portfolio. One of the highlights of her career was working on the licensing of the Fifty Shades of Grey brand within the pleasure products industry, bringing the story to life through the design and development of an award-winning range of products loved around the globe.

Bonny has extensive experience in supplier management and sourcing. Having spent the past 15 years travelling throughout the Far East on sourcing and development trips, and attending US and European industry trade shows, Bonny has built up a global network of manufacturing partners. There has yet to be a product idea that she has not been able to turn into reality!

Bonny has undergone PR training and has featured in both Press and TV as an expert within the pleasure product industry, including Forbes, New York Post, NYLON, Brands Untapped, The Guardian, Campaign, Cosmopolitan, HuffPost, Design Week, Wired, Daily Mail, The Sun, Channel 4 TV, Sky TV.

Vicki Jackson - Co-founder

Vicki has over 25 years deep retailing experience, working with global brands in the footwear, wellness and pleasure sector.

Vicki specialises in understanding consumers and building commercial product ranges to meet their needs. During her career she has developed skills and experience across all elements of the value chain including category management, buying and merchandising and product development and has proven success in developing end to end processes to integrate and optimise channel performance globally.

Vicki is able to support businesses develop their product strategies, translate these into compelling product plans and ultimately develop commercial go to market proposals.

She is passionate about collaborating with people and will go out of her way to bring teams with her, with coaching and skill building where needed to deliver new and improved ways of working.

Paul is a highly experienced professional with a diverse background in quality management and production engineering. With over 45 years of expertise in these fields, Paul has consistently delivered outstanding results and played a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence within various industries.

As a quality manager, Paul possesses a meticulous and detail-oriented approach that ensures products and processes meet the highest standards. He has a proven track record of implementing robust quality control systems, conducting thorough inspections, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Paul's commitment to excellence has resulted in improved product quality, increased customer satisfaction, and reduced costs throughout his career.

In his role as a production engineer, Paul has demonstrated exceptional technical proficiency and a keen understanding of manufacturing processes. He has successfully optimised production lines, streamlined workflows, and enhanced efficiency while maintaining strict adherence to quality standards. Paul's ability to identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and implement innovative solutions has consistently contributed to increased productivity and profitability.

Beyond his technical expertise, Paul is known for his strong leadership skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Nick Ellis, Senses8

Nick Ellis - Content

With a 20+ year career in Content Marketing and ecommerce, Nick champions the power of words to forge emotional connections with consumers.  

He spent 10 years as a writer and editor on Future Publishing’s suite of market-leading videogame magazines, including an editorship at Sony’s Official PlayStation Magazine. As the tide turned ever-more towards the digital, Nick shifted focus to websites, picking up the requisite skills in Content Management Systems, SEO, Social Media, paid search, email marketing, YouTube and all the other good stuff. 

In 2015 he joined award-winning adult retailer Lovehoney, and for eight years oversaw a team that delivered customer-focused copy for every aspect of the Lovehoney proposition, from tens of thousands of product descriptions for the company’s suite of websites to own-brand packaging, blog posts and product guides, video scripts, customer service pages, B2B sales presentations and much, much more besides. 

Over the years, Nick developed excellent relationships with all departments, helping to secure sustained growth across all markets through Lovehoney’s industry-leading ecommerce proposition. He was also instrumental in the successful delivery of a two-year digital transformation project, acting as a bridge between the Tech team and the wider business.

Christine Cleaves - Merchandising

Christine has over 22 years of Merchandising experience working for a Global multi-channel footwear brand. Her experience of leading a team to implement strategies to improve stock turn and profitability in a business with a high sku base means she brings a wealth of expertise to support product businesses.

Now as a freelance Merchandise Consultant, she collaborates with a diverse range of clients across multiple sectors, including lingerie, outdoor sports and leisure, and footwear, spanning retail, wholesale, and digital channels.

Christine is able to support businesses with budgeting and margin management, range planning and forecasting with the aim of increasing profitability and sell through. Her passion for team building and engagement, combined with a dedication to mentoring individuals, ensures she can help implement new ways of working and processes that are efficient and effective.

Lucy Bailhache - Content

With almost two decades of experience in print and online publishing, e-commerce content creation, and management, Lucy thrives as an integral part of businesses' success stories through the power of words.

She began her journey with five years as a writer and editor across diverse B2B/B2C publications at ITP Publishing, Specialist Publishing, and Wildfire Comms. Transitioning her focus to e-commerce content, Lucy dedicated over 12 years at Lovehoney, a leading adult-retailing giant, crafting and maintaining content across the Lovehoney Group's e-commerce sites.

During her time at Lovehoney, Lucy led a team of writers, ensuring that all copy remained on-brand, informative, and optimized for performance. She also played an integral role in the evolution of Lovehoney's own brand packaging.

Notably, Lucy played a key role in the launch of the Fifty Shades of Grey Official Pleasure Products collection, demonstrating her expertise in workflow management and copy creation for numerous packaging lines.

Lucy also runs Can You Just, a copywriting and proofreading agency.
